Jon Barrett-Danes

Jon comes from a long line of potters going back six generations. They all had a different approach towards making a living out of ceramics from country potter to studio ceramicist. Jon was trained as a thrower but now spends most of his time making individually sculpted animals which are full of character and humour and most are suitable for outside. The underlying strength of his work stems from classical proportions and a strong sense of form but most importantly they make you smile.
