Katie Braida
Katie Braida makes sculptural vessels and forms. The surfaces are decorated using colours and patterns with reference to the natural and manmade patterns and marks found in the local environment. Katie uses hand building techniques, sometimes firing the work several times in order to build up the layers of colour and pattern.
