My contemporary ceramic vessels, bowls and wall plaques are slabbed formed with textured or chunky black clay. I have a long held fascination with the idea of future fossils, creating surface pattern by using found manmade objects such as machinery, nails or circuit boards pressed in to the clay; the man made leaving an imprint on the earth. I use colour to highlight the texture and mark making before firing to stoneware. My range of ceramic jewellery compliments the designs of my wrap pots.
