Rosa Wiland Holmes
My inspiration comes from the beauty of nature and the landscape; rocky cliffs and smooth waters or the surface of a stone from the garden. They all intrigue me and inspire me to create pots that are abstract and sculptured in their feel and shape.
I am always exploring different shapes and forms in my work. From large thrown moon jars with organic necks to small hand built fruits. Using a range of clays, such as black grog, fleck and porcelain to get the differing effects for each piece.
