Paul Dalrymple

Wheel thrown and altered tableware and sculptural vessels. The artist creates a sense of growth with each piece uniquely marked and textured with the use of mixed agate stoneware clays and locally sourced clay and shingle.
Growing up and living in Northern Ireland influences my work greatly, I use simple materials, found in nature and in industry as inspiration. The weathered state of these materials wood, pebble or brick I feel show great resilience and character.
