I am interested in what lies beneath the surface in life. We think we live in a modern world but do we? I feel tipping points are never far away. I explore these themes using clay in a variety of ways sometimes using Raku methods and other bodies of work are made from stoneware. During the naked Raku process a layer of slip and glaze fall off to reveal images that only the kiln gods can create. This is constantly exciting and I will continue to experiment using this method for many years.
