Lindy Barletta

Lindy makes her own coloured porcelain clays in both vibrant & earthy colours. Throwing 3 or 4 of these clays together into upright shapes on the wheel, the vessels are then turned, burnished, bisque fired, clear glazed inside, high fired and polished with a diamond abrasive polisher, to create a smooth and marble-like finish. The colourful pictures in the clay are landscapes; of the Earth, the Desert, and of Seascapes. They swirl around the pots, are tactile, functional and pleasing to use.
