Charlie Clarke
I make tactile, relaxed crockery individually decorated with folkloric images or glazed in vibrant, joyous colours. I take my inspiration from a background in travel, literature, illustration and nature. I hope to create cosy pieces that people find transportive and want to hold, use and treasure. I also teach from my log cabin studio in Gloucestershire. I specialise in giving confidence to native potters and inspiring them to explore the breadth of skills and knowledge ceramics opens up.
