Sharon Griffin
Sharon Griffin is a sculptural ceramicist who uses the human form to illuminate personal stories of love and loss; dramatic characters; or contemporary stories and situations from the news and our environment.
Sharon’s work is expressive, and often has an unfinished air, some sort of restless spark that picks, nudges and demands a connection. Swift instinctive mark-making using stoneware clay incites the feeling that the work is alive and essential.
Her work is about strength and fragility.
