Janet Halligan

Trompe l’oeil sculptures, chiefly bags ,shoes and sewing /tool /art boxes, together with abstract sculpture, inspired by landscape and the built environment. I also make a range of slab built vessels including jugs and teapots which explore the relationship between abstract form and function.
All work is hand built in stoneware; glazed using a range of stoneware glazes and often decorated with low-fired metal lustres.
