Trompe l’oeil sculptural ceramics in stoneware and hand-built vessels exploring the juxtaposition of curved and angular slabbed forms.
Glazes are fired to 1260 degrees in an electric kiln and a further firing is required for metal lustres.
The abstract vessels and sculptural forms were originally inspired by landscape and landform, but have gradually metamorphosed into more architectural or machine-like forms as they have been influenced by the making process.
