Suzette Knight

I make unconventionally beautiful handmade ceramics. I am inspired by the effects of weathered surfaces and textures. Some pieces are decorative, while others are intended for daily use. My pots have an honest tactile quality to them, inviting you to pick them up to explore them further. I use different techniques including throwing, slip casting and press moulding, using my own custom made moulds. I apply coloured slips in varying viscosities to achieve the finish that I desire.
