Rory and Helen Shearer Ceramics

In 2004 we moved to our current studio in the Antrim Hills. We produce a range of Stoneware and Porcelain vessels and framed illustrations on Porcelain. The work is fired in either gas or wood, in a reduction atmosphere to cone 10. The framed work has an additional lustre firing to complete. Both of us respond to our locality by using a range decoration techniques including mark making, oxide washes, coloured slips and glaze.
