Ken and Valerie Shelton

Shelton Pottery’s bowls, vases and plates are thrown by Ken and painted by Valerie. Ken works with smooth, white clay, burnished to give a smooth canvas for Valerie’s painting. An avid gardener, Valerie is inspired by flowers and while she does not paint botanical studies, the essence of each flower is accurately captured in her bright, vibrant brushstrokes. Shelton Pottery’s work is sold in interiors shops and art galleries throughout the country.
